New headshots for this wonderful team

I was hired to come in to this beautiful naturopath office to take photos of their team. They wanted everyone to have photos for their website and social media that flowed well with each other.

A lot of them didn’t have updated headshots or photos for their Linkedin or for the website.

This to me is unprofessional when the photo that represents you as a business professional isn’t even professional. A lot of the time I see selfies on peoples website. It doesn’t take much to have a professional photographer to come in and take a couple photos that represent you. When you show to the world that you took the time to get professional headshots done- it shows to them that you care that you take this seriously.

This team of beautiful women made my job super easy. Now their website and social media goes well as a unit.

Everyone looks like they are apart of the team.

It is really my favourite spot to do photos- there is SO many options for photos- a tall hill for kids to run down, this is always a hit. Tall grass.. beautiful filtered lighting and the beach is so stunning.

I love how these photos turned out but I really love shooting at any beach in vancouver.

Newborn photography- North Vancouver

The one thing everyone tells us before we become parents is how quickly the time goes by with your children. How fast they grow and what to we have besides the memories in our head of that moment in time- Photographs!

I cherish all my photographs of my children- I look back and wish I could go back in time, squish them, snuggle them, smell them one more time in that moment in time.

These photos I cherish.

This is why I love my job. It doesn’t feel like a job first off.. but I get to give families memories that last a life time. Usually we start with maternity photos, capture that beautiful baby bump- that I swear you will miss. Then when families come back with their newborn. Sometimes the sibling(s) come along or the grandparents. Everyone is welcome. More love the better.

I want to give families memories to cherish. To share. To look back on.

They are timeless, not a lot of props or fussy blankets. My headbands and wraps are super simple. I want the focus to be on the baby.

NEW STUDIO!

After 9.5 years, I said goodbye to my Lonsdale studio.

When I got that space, I was maybe a year and a half into photography. This studio was my baby!!! But it was time to say goodbye- moving to a new, bigger and brighter space. Over the years you realize what you need and want are different.

I am so excited to share my new space, 1801 welch street. It offers lots of light, more space and parking- which is huge when your moving from busy Lonsdale.

It offers a space for families and a special room for newborns.

This maternity session was at Whytecliff park at sunset- and it was so perfect. The most amazing thing is, we did their first baby’s maternity photos here too! So it has a special space in our hearts.

Maternity photos can be done in studio ( North Vancouver) Or at a location of your choice! I have lots of ideas on where we can do it outside.

Usually we do maternity photos around 31-34 weeks.

Maternity photos is a family affair

Maternity photos mark a special moment in your life. You could be carrying your first baby or your fourth. It’s still such a special moment.

Womens bodies are so amazing, we are carrying and creating this beautiful baby. Soon, life will never be the same- for the better.

I think maternity photos should be beautiful, timeless and mother’s should be celebrated and feel beautiful.

Usually I do maternity photos around 31-34 weeks. They can be done in my north vancouver photography studio, in the comfort of your own home or outside- ideally at sunset.

I offer two packages. One is a mini session and one is a full session and it includes professional hair and make up. I also offer a client wardrobe, full of beautiful dresses for clients to use.

There is so many businesses and companies these days and as a consumer myself, I look at other companies content and even headshots. To me- I notice a lot of people do not take the time to put in effort to their photos for their website or social media. This is a good representation of your company. Extended Family Photo shootI

Once your kids get older, they sometimes all live in different places in the world, so when everyone gets together in one spot its a good time to get a family photo, everyone- all together in one photo.

This was a shoot with the whole group, grandparents, older children and grandchildren.

It is something that you will all cherish for years to come.

West Vancouver Family Photo shoot

This beautiful family is new to vancouver and we wanted to showcase a little west coast feel.

We went down by the water for the last couple of shots to get the lions gate bridge in the back. I think they turned out perfectly. They also hit the nail on the head for outfits! Coordinating but not matching! Beautiful job mama!

Salt spring wedding

Salt spring Island wedding. If you have never been to Salt spring Island, I suggest you add it to your list.

E&N on Salt Spring Island. They run a beautiful farm and decided to have their wedding on the farm. Mostly everything at the wedding was grown/raised on the farm. The farm to table dinner was amazing!

The attire from the wedding party was vibrant and colourful- just like the brides. They were surrounded by so much love and laughter. Everyone there loved them so much and it was so nice to see everyone come together and enjoy a beautiful wedding and ceremony at such a beautiful location.

Grad photography

These grad portraits are the perfect opportunity to capture your grad in their dress/ suit.

You can join with another family/friend to do these together and share on the cost.

North Vancouver Family Photography

We wait all year for the long days & the warmer weather here in Vancouver.

I am so excited to get back to shooting outside again.

My favourite time of day to shoot at is a hour before sunset. You get that nice warm glow to your photos.

I have a ton of great spots to do photos in North Vancouver, West vancouver, Downtown and even the Fraser valley.

Christmas Minis- North Vancouver

Christmas minis are something fun I do every year at my North Vancouver studio. Each year is a different set up and lets my creative juices flow.

This year I am doing them almost every weekend in November. Santa is even coming for one of the weekends!

First birthday cake smash session

Sweet little Zoey came with her family to celebrate her first birthday. We did family photos, sibling photos and then some cake smash photos, to say she loved it is a understatement.

Newborn photography in North Vancouver

I often get asked, when is the best time to get newborn photos done? I recommend between 5-14 days new. They are still pretty sleepy at that stage, they are still pretty mold-able and that newborn smell I swear radiates through the photos. You will cherish these photos forever, remembering when they were once so small.

Trust me with capturing this special moment in your life. I have been told I am one of the best newborn photographers out there ;)
